The Multispares team have been busy with the annual quick turnaround between Sandown and Bathurst. With mixed weather conditions sweeping across Melbourne the weekend before last, Ryan and the crew had to be right onto getting the right tyres and car set up on the Multispares Torana for each practice and race.

Ryan Hansford and his Multispares SLR5000 Torana have taken their first outright race win last weekend around the streets of Reid Park, Townsville. Ryan qualified 4th behind Johnson, Bowe and Andrew Fisher with only .3 separating Bowe to Hansford.

Ryan Hansford and his Multispares SLR5000 Torana have had their best result so far in Touring Car Masters grabbing the Pro Am class win and finishing 2nd to Steve Johnson overall at Winton Raceway for round 3 of the 2018 series.

After round 2 of the 2018 Touring car masters series at Symmons Plains in Tasmania, Ryan Hansford and his Multispares Torana is 2nd in class and 5th overall in the points.

It was a case of the “good, bad and the ugly” in Tasmania with a weekend that showed a glimpse of Ryan’s brilliant driving in tricky conditions, Adelaide street circuit kerbs striking again and just plain bad luck when a brand new set of plug leads had a failure sitting on the grid for the final race.

The Multispares Torana has started the year with a mixed bag of results in Adelaide, March 1st – 4th in front of over 275,000 fans.
Ryan Hansford started the weekend strongly in both practice and qualifying and was 4th on the grid behind Steve Johnson, Gavin Bullas and John Bowe.

In 2018 the first race of the weekend will be the reverse grid race, but the great news is there is still three races to follow, so an extra race at each round. Ryan started from 16th and raced hard picking off 10 cars and keeping Johnson, Bullas and Bowe behind him.
